Be Prepared for an Emergency!!!

Be Prepared for an Emergency

Be Prepared for an Emergency!!!

Personally, I have had my house burn down, be on a school bus and out in the open during a tornado, had forest fires threaten my home, experienced hail storms, and lived through numerous hurricanes and tropical storms. A few of those times, I have had to grab my vital and important documents and evacuate my home. Years ago, I decided to put together a kit, that I could just "Grab and Go" as I fled my home. I have a pouch with my passports and small cards that attach with Velcro to the outside of my fireproof grab bag. I don't want to waste precious minutes risking my safety. I am not alone in this exposure to disasters that require evacuation in a moments notice...so you can be prepared for an emergency!!!

According to AP News, ninety percent of the counties in the United States suffered a weather disaster between 2011 and 2021. Some endured as many as 12 federally-declared disasters over those 11 years. In fact, more than 300 million people - 93% of the country’s population - live in these counties.

If you needed to "Grab and Go" with your important papers and vital documents, would you be ready?
